Refund policy

We have a 5-day return policy, which means you have 5 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

Return Shipping
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To return an eligible item, the customer is responsible contacting us first for returns. Customer is responsible for the return shipping costs on items purchased with a discount code. Red Hen Boutique will provide return shipping labels for "full price" purchases. We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure your return is received by us. We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged returns during transit.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label for items purchased at full price, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. All claims must be made within 3 days of receipt of goods. No returns accepted after that. 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items CANNOT be returned like: Sale Items, Jewelry, All Women’s Lingerie, All Sleepwear and Loungewear, Merchandise In Mystery Boxes, Gift Cards, All Footwear, Merchandise that has been used, worn, Removed tags, and out of original package. All merchandise has to be in the same condition when returning, otherwise a 25% restocking fee will be applied. $25 charge will be issued for insufficient funds. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. Please note which items are not available for returns in our "Exceptions/non-returnable items" policy section.

 

Refunds
Please be aware that we do not offer cash refunds. Instead, we offer store credit or Red Hen Boutique gift cards for the purchase price, which you can use for future purchases on our website. Store credit is non-transferable and can only be used on our website. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 15 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
